GHASP Conferences

We heard from our series of experts about The Next 15 Years in Sustainable Healthcare, as well as had the opportunity to view projects that our members have undertaken throughout the year. Speakers included Chantelle Rizan (Associate Professor at the Centre for Sustainable Medicine, National University of Singapore, and head of Net Zero Clinical Transformation research), Steve Hill ( Clinical Procurement Specialist for University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust and Sustainability lead for Procurement), Abigail Fry (GP partner and GP trainer, Director of Greener Practice CIC) and Lucy Brown (Development Director, Centre for Sustainable Healthcare). 

We came together with the aim to learn from outside of our bubbles. Speakers included Alexis Percival ( Environmental and Sustainability Manager for Yorkshire Ambulance Service), Alifia Chakera (Co-founder Pharmacy Declares), Paul Southall (RCoA Environmental Advisor), Jonny Groom (Consultant Anaesthetist) and Sally Franks (Co-Chair of Greener Practice West Yorkshire).
