Our Teatime Talks started back in 2024 with the idea to showcase some of the amazing work that GHASP members were doing. Now each year we host a short series of talks from both internal and external speakers. We aim to bring our members new perspectives, new ideas and create a space for discussion afterwards. Check our calendar and come and join us for our next one! Watch some our previous talks below.
Hugh co-chaired the two Lancet Commissions on Human Health & Climate Change and now the 42-country Lancet Countdown on Health & Climate Change. He’s written & lectured extensively on the subject; has briefed policymakers (inter)nationally; & co-founded the UCL MSc module on climate & health. He has been awarded the OBE in part for his climate work. He is currently the Director of an organisation called Real Zero and kindly delivered a Teatime Talk for us this year.
